My name is Kaushik .
I like promoting technology wherever and whenever possible, I always have fun on the web and with all the various other devices connected to it. I am an Apple fan boy, Javascript addict, Internet junkie and and a promoter of green tech.
When and where it started?
It was yr 2005. I started experimenting with lot of new web technologies which were popping up that time along with lot of software like Photoshop, adobe Flash, Maya etc. I had lot of interest on software development and VB 6 was all you get. Java was not of any interest to me at that time. All these experiments which I used to do, now need a safe deport and by the end of 2005 classictutorials.blogspot.com was born. It was a private blog that time and only me and few close friend has access to it. Adsense was released by Google at that time and I wanted to experiment it also. Now to do so I need to make the site live to people and need to learn SEO. Because my posts were less and I need to see the power of SEO I did copy paste some articles from other blogs(Ya cheap way of doing but now removed it). I was not serious about the consequence and was much more of “Who Cares”. By middle of yr 2006, ClassictuTorials started crawling in Google and the keywords which I selected started showing my blog on top. People started loving this blog and comments kept pouring in. I loved the work I was doing as a hobby.
What stuffs do I put in CT now days?
Anything which interest me in IT and I cannot implement them in daily office work. Example: I just love JavaScript . But in industries there are lot of great JS developers already and my work is more of backend so CT is my playground.
What stuffs I won’t put on CT?
Core Java stuffs for sure. Enough in office and don’t want to pull them in my hobby. Design Patterns, they are just good for work and nowhere else.
