Ok if you have not you can think now. Google has this unique service called Google News Archive which digitalized lots of old news papers. Check the screenshot below.

But the bad news is they have recently stopped the archiving service but still there are already lot of information available in there databases.

I am really impress with this. It gives another angle to analytics. There are few bugs though. Once you open this feature, its going to stay on your site even after you sign out. You might need to restart your browser. Below is a screenshot of this new feature on Classic Tutorials blog.

Google has partnered with in.com, saavn and saregama. Its cool. Tried searching some new songs. Also the search result page you can directly play each songs.

The definition was not that clear to me. I was not able to find out any difference between Google translator and Google script converter until unless i tried some practical experiment.

Google translator as we all know changes the language to make it readable to someone who knows the translated language. The pronounce and the spelling is same as the new language.

Google has launched the Keyboard API and its so easy to use on websites.
This is what google has to say:

It is often difficult for Internet users to input text in many non-Latin script-based languages for a variety of reasons. The correct keyboard layout may not be installed on the computer they’re using – sometimes such a layout may not be well developed or widely available. This poses a challenging problem for web developers because there is no way they can ensure that their users have access to this very basic input technology. Our Transliteration API can help, but requires that the user know multiple languages.

A new version has been released. Get it at Greet Box v4.0

First want to thank Thaya Kareeson for his wonderful idea of WP Greet Box for WordPress.

I named it Blogger Greet Box.This plugin lets you show a different greeting message to your visitors depending on their referrer url. For example, when a Digg user clicks through from Digg, they will see a message reminding them to digg your post if they like it. Another example, when a visitor clicks through

from google search they will see a message suggesting them to subscribe to your RSS feed. Having

these targeted suggestions will help your blog increase exposure, loyal readership, and reader

interactionso all together it should increase your page hits.

Go to Google.com and search for search term like “Classic Tutorials” or “WP Greet Box for

blogger” and navigate to this site and you will see a message saying that you came from google.

Now try the same with yahoo search and see the message changes.

6)Currently the following referrers are installed. I will update the list and the change will

automatically be reflected with everyone using this plugin. So its totally automatic and you dont

need to do code changes and staffs..

Wow! Much waited Google location is now available in India for iPhone.
This is really good and now if I compair with Nokia maps according
to me iPhone map is far better than nokia map when in comes to
calculate route and faster GPS.
An example would be I tried to find a route from Kolkata to
bangalore(almost 1100 miles) and it was able to show me the route
which is never possible with nokia map.
